Oils of the Month:
The weather in Filey continues to be a bracing mix of sunshine
and showers. This makes it a wonderful time of the
year to visit the town for some fresh air and exercise with
the view across the bay on a clear crisp day being difficult
to beat. A walk on the beach, in the sweep of Filey
Bay, or up on the Country Park, which overlooks the bay,
really can blow away the cobwebs.
This
is a great time of the year to get out and about exploring
the wonderful coast and countryside of the UK, and North
Yorkshire and its coast, particularly Filey, has the most
to offer.
The
town has wonderful gardens, beach and coastal walks, and
countryside all easily accessible from the town without
touching the car keys. Arriving by train makes it even easier,
with the town and the beach being only minutes away from
the station.
A holiday by the sea
is wonderful and here on the coast we have a wonderful coastline
to follow and the wild life is second to none. Filey
is at the start of the Cleveland Way on Carr Naze following
the coast north of Filey.
Winter
is the time of year for colds and 'flu. We have some
wonderful natural air fresheners which can help deal with
them.
The
Eucalyptus aroma has
been a favourite for those with colds 'flu and hay fever
and also helping with breathing.
We
have been trialing Bergamot in this range in the shop with
an excellent response and so will be introducing it on the
web site in the near future -watch this space.

to see if we could stop my partner snoring. It worked.
We have come away on holiday and he is snoring again -we need
another jar'.

a jar of the Marjoram not really expecting anything.
However I didn't tell my husband and hid the open jar in the
bedroom. He stopped snoring so I have just called back
to tell you.'
