  • The Lavender plant originates from the Mediterranean area, enjoying a warm dry site. The flowering season is June to August and the sight of fields of Lavender in flower are to be enjoyed. It is a favourite of bees and is easy to grow in the garden or in a container as long as the soil is well drained. This can be achieved by adding grit to the bottom of the hole and to the soil before planting. They hate having their feet in water.
